Evite’s Sales team is seeking a Sales Development Director to support the all aspects of our business, with a focus will be the creative/strategic force behind our Sales organization. This person has an entrepreneurial mindset who can jump in and tackle an inaugural role.

  • Proven ability to build and operationalize a strategic selling portfolio (data, competitive analysis, collateral, processes, etc.) for a $20M+ online media-based web property
  • Ability to turn data into a competitive selling advantage that converts large-spending endemic advertisers and cultivates long-term relationships
  • Proven success using creativity and innovation to develop best-in-class solutions that increase sales and yield the highest possible market share

Responsibilities

  • Create and cultivate the Sales Development department based on the growing needs of the Sales team
  • Drive the development of the Strategic Sales Process and all supporting Marketing Initiatives
  • Collaborate on ideation and execution of integrated campaigns leveraging sponsorships, partnerships,
  • content experiences and collaborations.
  • Attend and participate in client meetings, brainstorming sessions and quarterly client reviews (some
  • travel necessary)
  • Become the industry expert and use key data points, historical knowledge and relevant research to
  • drive a consultative selling approach across the Sales organization
  • Develop and optimize innovative Sales Materials as needed
  • Analyze and maintain all internal and external Sales Tools including vetting innovative solutions
  • Exhibit thorough understanding of Evite’s core offerings, advertising solutions and competitive
  • advantage
  • Manage and Maintain detailed win/loss report by analyzing and diagnosing all RFP outcomes to
  • provide insight into attrition rate.
  • Oversee the Sales Development department

Other Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Marketing, Advertising or Business (or other related fields)
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in sales, sales planning or sales marketing and at least 2 years of experience in Sales Development
  • 3-4 years of management experience
  • Experience working within CRM systems, Order Management Systems and ad serving platforms
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Proficient with MS Windows, Excel, PowerPoint and Google’s suite of products
  • High-energy individual who is a team player
  • Ability to work closely with cross functional teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Ability to analyze data and develop strong stats that tell an informed story
