Brand Development and Partnerships Manager

Given our continued and rapid growth, we are looking for a high energy thoughtful Brand Development and Partnerships Manager to join our team. A position that is critical to our promising future, our new Brand Development and Partnership Manager will be able to have great influence in evaluating various partnerships, licensing, and other opportunities for the Evite brand providing initial due diligence and making recommendations about go-forward plans. 

You will also conduct strategic planning and analysis for the brand development, global partnerships and licensing organization, and will be the project lead on various special projects designed to improve process and capabilities.

We are looking for a proactive vs. reactive person because we are moving at light speed and need teammates that know how to make a difference by:

  • Evaluating new opportunities, meeting with potential partners, and making a recommendation to Evite leadership. Evaluation will require understanding Evite’s strategic priorities and collaborating with Evite’s President. Seek out other licensing and partnership opportunities that align with Brand objectives.
  • Define, negotiate, and close deals for game development, distribution, publishing and IP licensing
  • Manage strategic partnerships with publishers and IP licensors/holders
  • Operate effectively with external partners ranging from large IP holders, CPG companies to small up and coming IPs
  • Partner closely with internal producers to support key titles on business and operational issues throughout development and post launch
  • Partner cross-functionally with Content, Marketing, Legal, Finance and Engineering teams to negotiate deal terms, drive special projects, advocate internally for partners and educate on industry norms
  • Work closely with Evite’s President and external licensees to develop and implement new processes that drive product focused revenue. Serve as project manager on this implementation working with internal cross-functional partners to ensure successful implementation.
  • Work closely with Evite’s President who oversees Global Partnerships and Licensing on a wide range of projects in furtherance of company wide objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • An exceptional communicator both verbally and in writing.
  • Diligent and proactive.
  • An adept negotiator.
  • 8+ years of experience working in a business development, partnership or equivalent function role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Fashion/Retail/CPG industry partnering with developers, publishers and hardware platforms
  • Experience in IP licensing
  • Experience with leading a partnership from concept to legal agreement, implementation and launch
  • Experience collaborating and leading cross-functionally with experience building consensus among multiple stakeholders in an entrepreneurial, high-expectation environment
  • Quantitative analytical and communication skills
