Senior Data Analyst

Core Capabilities: 

• Ability to write, develop and iterate on data models, reports and dashboards using complex SQL queries for both internal and external use
• Demonstrated experience in ETL or ELT development and design
• Experience or familiarity with eCommerce back and front-end data systems
• Understanding of data warehouse architecture and data design 
• Experience designing and analyzing randomized A/B tests and control trials

Responsibilities & Requirements

• Leverage your experience and skills to understand and share how our hosts and guests  interact with and use our core business products across mobile, web, and app 
• Partner with Product to help define and analyze metrics that inform the success of new features and programs and to monitor product adoption and health across our party ecosystem 
• Work with the data engineering teams to develop reliable, consistent and defined data sources for use in analytics reporting and for front-end users 
• Help develop first-class data objects and metrics to support KPI development 
• Select applicable statistical methods and synthesize results from complex A/B multivariate tests 
• Communicate via compelling, easy to use dashboards and analysis, the operational performance, experiment results and overall pulse of the business and identify potential opportunities for growth or efficiencies
• Influence and inform product and design teams through write-ups, meeting and presentations of data-based recommendations
• Champion the analytics process – from measurement strategies, data preparation, modeling, cleansing and evaluation
• Lead by example and help educate business stakeholders with varying technical or non-technical backgrounds
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, economics, or finance from a competitive school
• Highly Proficient in SQL
• Experience with transactional databases and database management systems such as Databricks
• Fluency in either R or Python is desired but not required 
• 3+ years of experience using data to facilitate business or product decisions
